About Property

8-suite luxury kasbah with heated pool and spa in the royal Kasbah quarter of Marrakech

Kasbah Moon is a 750 m² kasbah of eight en-suite suites in the royal Kasbah quarter of the Medina — the historic district beside the royal palace, long regarded as the most secure and sought-after corner of old Marrakech. Hand-picked by The Marrakech Curator, the house unfolds around three luminous patios, a heated swimming pool, a peaceful garden and a panoramic roof terrace, in a contemporary reinterpretation of Moroccan living: generous volumes, natural light, noble materials and artisanal detail at every turn.

At a glance

  • Capacity: up to 16 guests in 8 en-suite suites
  • Suites: Deluxe (28 m²), Prestige (38 m²) and the Royal Suite (60 m²) with private terrace and jacuzzi
  • Pool: heated swimming pool framed by palms and lanterns
  • Wellness: spa with hammam and treatment room
  • Dining: in-house kitchen led by chef Raja, trained at Royal Mansour
  • Built area: 750 m² around three patios
  • Location: royal Kasbah quarter, Medina of Marrakech

The setting

Behind a discreet door on the street of the royal palace, the kasbah opens onto a sequence of three patios — one arranged around a sculpted fireplace lounge, another around the heated pool with its evening lanterns, a third kept as a quiet garden. The panoramic roof terrace looks out over the rooftops of the Kasbah district, minutes on foot from the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace and the souks, yet wrapped in the calm that only this quarter of the Medina offers.

Interiors and accommodation

The eight suites pair traditional Moroccan craftsmanship with modern comfort: Egyptian cotton linens, marble bathrooms with Italian showers or freestanding baths, air conditioning, espresso machines and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. The Deluxe suites (28 m²) occupy the left wing; the Prestige suites (38 m²) add generous sitting areas and balconies; and the Royal Suite (60 m²) crowns the house with a spacious lounge and a private terrace with jacuzzi. Every suite is en-suite, with the patios and salons offering fireplaces and quiet corners for reading and tea.

Dining and wellness

The kitchen is led by chef Raja, trained at Royal Mansour, who serves an authentic Moroccan cuisine thoughtfully revisited with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients — from daily breakfast on the patio to candlelit dinners by the pool. The spa offers hammam rituals and massages, and afternoon tea with Moroccan pastries is a house tradition.
