Ezzahra Estate is a bespoke private estate of five luxury houses, set in 20,000 m² of landscaped gardens of centuries-old olive trees, date palms, orange and pomegranate trees, fifteen minutes from central Marrakech. Offered by The Marrakech Curator for exclusive use, the estate welcomes up to 29 guests across fifteen suites, served by a permanent team of twenty-four, on an all-inclusive basis that covers dining, unlimited spa treatments, heated pools and much more. Described by Country Life as “a stay in a grand hotel, but without any other guests,” it is one of the most complete private estates in Morocco.

The five houses

Ezzahra House, the heart of the estate, offers seven luxurious en-suite double bedrooms, each with dressing room and private terrace, some with fireplaces, decorated in the spirit of a grand riad with Moroccan fabrics, treasures found in the souks and a significant collection of Moroccan art. Its 16-metre pool is lined with Indian daybeds and a colourful Berber tent for shaded refreshments. The adjoining Owner's Pavilion adds a private one-bedroom retreat with sitting room, terrace and private plunge pool.

Alkhozama House, designed by the celebrated Moroccan architect Karim el Achak with interiors by Philip Hooper of Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, offers two en-suite bedrooms descending to a twelve-metre pool. Azzaytouna House extends across its own 5,000 m² of lavender and olive gardens, with three fireplace suites, two with private pools lit at night, a 12.8-metre pool and a sunken Berber tent for evening drinks. Azeer House, a secluded retreat for three, is fully wheelchair accessible: step-free circulation, electric doors and a pool designed for assisted access.

All-inclusive

Ezzahra Estate runs on a genuine all-inclusive basis. The exclusive-use rate includes:

• Dining planned in advance with the Chef and estate manager, daily à la carte menus of Moroccan and European cuisine, children's menus available
• Unlimited spa and hammam treatments, massages, facials, manicures and pedicures with Les Sens de Marrakech products and argan oil, in the spa, on the terraces or by the pools
• Soft drinks and refreshments served throughout the day in the gardens, by the pools or on the terraces
• Heated pools, spa and gym
• Full housekeeping and personal laundry, fires laid and rooms turned down each evening, beds warmed in the cooler season
• A guided, accompanied tour of the medina
• A return airport transfer for the whole group, met by a senior member of the house

Wellness and leisure

Beyond the spa, the estate offers a fully equipped Technogym gym, a paddle-tennis court, a games room with a competition pool table, two cinema rooms, a giant outdoor chessboard and a 350-metre running and walking track winding through the gardens, punctuated by exercise stations.
